NEVER MISS A FRIEND™

We believe that relationships are the most important thing on this earth.

We live in an increasingly global world, with friends all over the planet. It’s a beautiful part of the modern age.

Butttttt, it’s humanly impossible to know which city your friends are not only living in but also traveling to, at any given time. We’re on the move. We’re busy.

intown™ fixes this problem.

1. Download the app.
2. Sync your Facebook.
3. See who’s in town.
4. Never miss a friend.

The concept is simple. We want you to ski in Whistler for the weekend and know which of your buddies are also on the slopes. We want you to drive to Memphis for a game and never miss out on seeing anyone. We want you to lounge on your couch and find out that your old college roommate just landed in town for a business meeting.

___

intown™ registers your location and displays it at the city level. Only at the city level. Period. It’ll never, ever (ever, ever) be displayed more specifically than that. Ever.

We’ve tried to automate the process as much as possible, so that you spend less time updating, and more time hanging with friends. intown™ automatically updates your location every time you open the app. Also, whenever your Facebook friends joins intown™, they automatically become your intown friend.

Now, we know that not everyone who’s your Facebook friend is your actual friend. That’s why we have “HIDE ME”. Go to that person’s profile on intown. Tap “Hide Me” in the top right corner, and you’ll disappear from them, Houdini style.

Lastly, this app is worthless without your friends on it. So invite them. If we had a million users, but none of them knew each other, then intown™ is dust. Wed much rather have just 500 users who are in the same circle. That way, theyre more likely to hang out in the real world, living it up.

___

intown™ is part of the movement to reinvest in friendships by letting you use your phone to get off your phone.

We want to use technology to bring people back to earth, where we can nurture real, meaningful relationships with the people we know and love.
